The text component is very simple. It lets you type and style some text. You can style the text by selecting the text component and using the style tool.
If you select a piece of text inside a text component, a toolbar with the following options will appear:
- Bold will make this chunk of text bold.
- Italic will make this chunk of text bold.
- Highlight will highlight this chunk of text. If your text component has a highlight, the highlight style circle will light up in the style tool to allow you to configure its text and background color.
- Code will make this chunk of text monospaced. If your text component has some code, the code style circle will light up in the style tool to allow you to configure its text and background color.
- Link will make this chunk of text a link, and ask you for the URL to link to. If your text component has any links, the link style circle will light up in the style tool to let you configure its color.
- Bullet list will make the selected text into a bulleted list.
- Numbered list will make the selected text into a numbered list.
