If you're the first one in your organization to use Pavior, you'll need to create a new team. Otherwise, you'll want to join the existing one
Creating a new team
During the team creation process, choose a team name and a team id.
The team name will be visible to everyone on your own team, and to your customers in some parts of the chat widget, if you are using our live chat. The team name can be changed at any time.
The team id uniquely identifies your team and will be visible in URLs and outgoing email addresses. Your domain name is usually a good id to use e.g. if you own the domain example.com, you might choose example as your team id. On our paid plans, any URL or email address that your customers see can be customized with your own domain.
The team id is used in the following cases:
- When you log in, you'll need to provide your team id
- The URL for any resource in your team starts with
app.pavior.com/team/yourteamid/ - Emails that are sent out on your behalf are from
yourname@yourteamid.convo.email(unless you set up a custom email domain) - Phone call links will look like
yourteamid.speakto.us/roomid(unless you set up a custom call domain) - Your help center will be at
yourteamid.help.guide(unless you set up a custom help center domain) - You need to provide the team id when using our API
After creating your team, you'll proceed to create your administrator account using your email and password. The administrator privileges can be dropped later if needed.
Joining an existing team
If you want to join an existing team, you'll need to ask one of the team administrators to send you an invite. An administrator can send an invite from [MDX CODE].
When you get the invite, just click the link and create an account with your email and password.
The same email address can be used to create accounts on multiple different teams, but each such account is completely separate. If you have accounts on multiple teams, you can be logged into all of them at the same time, even if you use a different email address for each account.
