Frequently, it's useful to be able to find subsets of users based on certain attributes. Pavior provides powerful filtering to allow this.
You can filter your users by going to [MDX CODE] and adding one or more filters. To add a filter, select the attribute and then the value to filter by.
Once you've created a filter, you can choose to save it as a custom segment. This can be useful if:
- you have a "view" of users that you often need to refer to
- you need to keep track of multiple cohorts of usrs
- you need to share a set of users with others
If you opt to create a custom segment, you have the ability to filter various user types across different universes. When you navigate to the "Users" page, you can choose to initiate from any of the user universes—be it Anonymous users, Leads, or Signups.
