Welcome to the Pavior user manual!

Pavior is the one source of truth for every interaction between your company and your customers. We offer a suite of products to make it easy to understand your own business.

This guide is organized by product feature. If you're using a specific part of Pavior, and you want to know how it works, you've come to the right place. If you're a developer and want to see API docs, check out the API Reference.

Product overview

  • The CRM is where you can view, filter, and manage your signups, leads, and anonymous visitors. If you've installed Pavior on your site, users will be automatically populated into your CRM whenever they visit. You can add custom attributes and event types to users, as well as view the entire history of every interaction between your company and a given user.
  • Our live chat is a widget that you can add to your site to talk to customers without them leaving your site. It is designed to be beautiful and fit in with all kinds of website designs. It is fully optimized for mobile websites (but no Android/iPhone app support yet). Most importantly, one of our design constraints is to never annoy or get in your customers' way.
  • The inbox is where your team members can communicate with your users. Chat and email conversations are seamlessly merged, and can be continued via both channels by your users. Conversations in your inbox are shared - they be viewed and acted on by anybody on your team. From the inbox you can also video call customers directly on your site, set up saved snippets, and more.
  • Video calls are embedded directly into our chat widget, so you can easily get on a sales or customer support call without them having to leave your website. Instant calls coupled with a delightful call experience can result in triple-digit conversion rate increases.
  • Our help center builder lets you easily build a help center just like this one! You can easily write documentation using our editor or just plain Markdown. Articles can be organized into categories and sections.
  • Automations let you build automated email and chat campaigns, fillable forms, as well as announcements. You can use filters to precisely target how users flow through your campaign.
  • Time travel lets you rewind time to view a video of what your customers were seeing. Use this to diagnose problems with your website or product.

We hate vendor lock-in! All of our products integrate seamlessly with each other, but each product can easily be swapped out for a competitor you like more. And all of your data can be exported at any time.
